Duran Fernandez-O’Brien
Architect
Registered Architect in Massachusetts
Duran joined ART in 2014. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, he has called Boston home since 2008, when he began his architectural studies at Northeastern University. He received both his undergrad and MArch degrees from Northeastern. After graduation, Duran joined ART, attracted by the firm’s emphasis on hand-drawing in design. In an increasingly digital world, he finds inspiration through sketching the city and the built environment wherever he travels.
Duran lives in Jamaica Plain and enjoys staying active by playing soccer and basketball, walking with his dog (Marlo), and taking hikes outside the city.
