AIA
Registered Architect in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire

John is a founding partner of ART. He has always been interested in the varied languages of architecture, and how architecture communicates aspirations and culture. John’s buildings have a strong sense of place, enriched by the specific history and characteristics of the environment in which they stand. John studied at Yale, where he received both his BA and MArch. He has served on the boards of the New England chapter of Congress for the New Urbanism and Family to Family, a poverty relief nonprofit organization.

He lives in Cambridge with his wife, Mary, and spends time in the summer at his camp on North Haven, Maine. His two children are now grown and have left the nest. When not designing buildings, John enjoys painting landscapes and portraits in oil and watercolor.

John is an accomplished artist, many of his paintings and drawings can be seen here – johnbtittmann.art
